Notifications

To edit the notification settings for your chat, click here.

You can also access this option by clicking on the menu icon

in your chat, and clicking on Chat Settings and then Notifications.

Minnit supports several types of notifications which you can read about here.

Some of these notifications when interacted with will take the user directly back to the chat by default, but this setting can be modified.

If you'd prefer notifications to go to another page — for instance, a website you own that has the chat embedded, you'll be able to change this in your chat settings.

To edit moderation settings for your chat, go to the chat settings page and click Notifications.

You'll be able to enter the URL here where you want users to be taken to when they interact with a notification.

Note: Users who tap the notification will expect to be taken immediately to your chat.

Please ensure the URL you provide has the chatroom prominently displayed, so the user can address their notification quickly.
